Vision

To be the most sought after gated community in Papua New Guinea.

Mission

To protect the property values of all homeowners by fostering a strong sense of community and enforcing rules that protect and benefit all residents.

Why do you need a HOA?

A property’s value is directly related to the properties around it.

In communities or subdivisions like Skyview Estate, what your neighbors do to their property by way of renovation, extension and activity within, can have a direct impact on the value of your property, either increasing it or decreasing it.

Other areas can also increase or decrease the value of a property such as its location, relative safety and security, whether or not the surroundings are clean and well kept, noise pollution is minimal, common areas and amenities are well maintained, and so on.

Because people that live within a gated community come from many different backgrounds, it is important to have a strong HOA in place to set and enforce the minimum standards, rules and guidelines to help foster a fair and positive environment, ensuring the community is able to live peacefully and harmoniously while also protecting the value of the properties within.

SEHOA Objectives

  • Oversee the overall management of the estate, especially common areas and facilities in order to maintain and protect residents and property values.

  • Educate and encourage residents to respect and observe the governing rules of the estate for the collective benefit of all.

  • Use its powers to enforce these rules where and when necessary.

  • Foster a strong sense of community through regular engagement and collaboration.

  • Work closely with Government agencies, NGO’s and other external stakeholders regarding matters impacting the residents, property owners and overall estate.
